Spotlessly clean throughout, well located. Excellent quality of all fitments and crockery etc. Really smart property which we shall return to one day soon. Completely deserving of the 5 stars it has.

First of all, the cottage is very good. Everything was clean, and in the kitchen was a welcome basket with bread and biscuits, butter and milk. We can recommend Knayton House Cottage warmly.

The cottage and welcome, including a number of well thought out touches from the owners, could not have been better! We felt thoroughly at home and the cottage well deserves its 5 star rating.

We appreciated the 'welcome pack' that the owners left in the cottage. The cottage was very warm & we did not need to use the wood burner which was located in the lounge. The owners had also left a wide range of DVD's & CD's which would have suited most tastes. Everything was clean & tidy & no expense had been spared.

A warm, welcoming and beautifully presented cottage in an excellent location for visiting both the North Yorks Moors and the Yorkshire Dales, not to mention York itself. Friendly and helpful owners living next door. Little extra touches - eg bread, milk and butter in the fridge - were much appreciated.
